Why choose a Powerglide Commercial Elevator

LOWER CAPITAL AND OPERATING COSTS

Don’t make the mistake of over-specifying your commercial elevator, incurring unnecesary capital and operating costs. Powerglide Elevators comply with NZS4334:2012, which is an acceptable standard for an accessible route in a commercial building.

Our commercial elevators typically have an initial purchase cost around 30% less than mainstream commercial elevators. They are also guaranteed maintenance and service free for at least 5 years, delivering significant savings year on year. It also avoids the hassle of arranging regular servicing and avoids increases in body corporate fees in an apartment environment.

COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN SERVICE

Our design service provides comprensive compliance documentation for each specific lift we manufacture, to a standard accepted by all NZ Building Consent authorities. This includes CAD and DWG files. Our team have extensive experience working with architects and builders on a wide range of commercial projects throughout New Zealand, giving you the benefit of drawing on their expert knowledge at any stage of the project.

SHORT LEAD-TIMES + INCREASED FLEXIBILITY

By manufacturing locally we are able to keep lead times to a minimum ( from 4 weeks versus upwards of 30 weeks for imported lifts). We can also accomodate unnexpected changes to design, something that’s not possible with imported lifts.

SUPPORT KIWI MADE / KIWI OWNED & AVOID SUPPLY CHAIN DISRUPTIONS

With around 85% of our componentry sourced from reputable Kiwi suppliers, it’s good to know you’re buying local. You’ll also minimise the risk of unexpected delays that can be caused by compromised international supply chains for imported lifts and componentry.

FAST, EFFICIENT INSTALLATION

To minimise disruption to your building site, our installation process is handled by factory trained technicians, who will work with your builders to flag potential pressure points before they become a problem. The entire installation process typically takes 1 week, significantly less than the industry standard of up to 4 weeks.
